ALA Department of MT Legislative Chair

As your ALA Department of MT Legislative Chair, I have three attachments to help you get started on the 2026-27 season.  If you go to the National American Legion Auxiliary website (www.legion-aux.org), you can go to each Act listed below plus updates and write in your name, Representative and Senators and send a pre-written letter via a tab and show your support of these various propositions. Support our veterans via this easy online system.

1. Urgent and attached - TAKE CARE OF AMERICA'S VETERANS ACT (TCAVA)

2. VETERANS COMMUNITY CARE SCHEDULING IMPROVEMENT ACT - This would give veterans timely access to quality health care

3. VETERANS IN TRANSITION TO TRUCKING ACT - Veterans transitioning to civilian life includes finding meaningful employment such as trucking industry

4. SAVES ACT - Service Dogs Assisting Veterans - It is time to close the gap for veterans with disabilities, PTSD, etc. to have access to trained service dogs.
