Hello, I hope everybody has had a good summer and surviving the heat. Hard to believe how fast this year is going, almost time for district meetings and fall conference. Remember our fall conference is Oct 3rd in Helena, and we will have our meeting at Helena’s post 3095 Villard Ave. The meeting will begin at 9am. I will provide more information as it becomes available. I hope everybody is selling tickets for our fundraiser for ALA Girl State. Each unit needs to participate.

From Stacy Bear – 250th celebration Here are some pictures from the June 14 2026 250th Celebration and mural unveiling in Kevin, Oilmont, Sunburst and Sweet Grass. Whitlash has requested a mural too. President Carol led the openings at all locations. Members Peggy Hartwell and Becky Gard led us in the Pledge of Allegiance in honor of their husbands ; they also were the Poker Run hosts at all locations! This portion earned us $300 as both high (Ernie Taft) and low (Mr.

Bitterroot held an inaugural Veterans' Appreciation dinner at the Event Center at the Ravali County Fairgrounds. The dinner took several months to organize that had over 600 people attend!! The Posts and Units from the Bitterroot Valley came together to put this together to celebrate the veterans in the valley. Stevensville Unit ALA members were a big help.

Every unit needs to get their T-Bills paid and sent in to Leila by Sept 1st. NO IF ANDS OR BUTS. I will reach out if she does not receive them.
