ALA MIS Information Sheet

What does ALA MIS actually cost our Department?

Annually we are charged as a department, $75 for up to three (3) Department Full Users. Additional department full uses are $50 each after the first 3. Then the department is charged for any of their districts or unit users. It is the responsibility of the department to collect payments from those districts and units every year.

The annual fee breakdown is:

District users are $10, only to read your district paid memberships.

Unit users are $10, you can only read your unit paid memberships.

Unit Write users are $15, you can only enter your paid memberships.

Unit Full users are $20, you can enter paid members, add new members and remove members.

These are annual charges, if the user is setup with access prior to the first week of January, their fee will be included in the annual invoice National sends out. Any user setup after the annual invoicing is completed will be invoiced separately. Any users submitted after October 1st will not be invoiced until the January invoicing.

If a unit or district needs to switch during the year, after already paying their fee, they can swap the user for the same level of access or lower for no additional cost. If you are swapping users for a higher level of access the full user fee will apply.

If you are swapping a user and just need to deactivate a user, a department full user can substitute a deactivation request via ALA MIS. Any user setup request must be submitted through a request form in ALA MIS.

Our 3, paid by the department contract are, Secretary Leila Seyfert, Department Membership chairman Jackie Gangstad, and Finance Committeeman Jamie DeBates.

Make your check payable to Dept of MT ALA, in the memo state ALA MIS and mail it to:
